Deadliest Catch Full Episode Guide

  • A greenhorn's life hangs in the balance as the Summer Bay crew scramble to steal one of their own from the Bering Sea's icy grip. Saga and Cornelia Marie battle colossal waves of the supermoon storm, while Mandy tackles her first haul in extreme weather.

  • A lunar phenomenon wreaks havoc on the Bering Sea fleet as a rare Supermoon delivers ferocious tides and big waves to confound the crab captains. While a serious engine problem shuts down Sig Hansen, the Supermoon tides take the crab off the bite for the other captains. While some, like Sean Dwyer, elect to stop fishing, others stubbornly fight through the conditions. In the end, the last man standing is Captain Wild Bill. He outsmarts the tides and fills his tanks with crab, but the celebration turns to horror when one of his crew plunges overboard into the frigid Bering Sea.

  • Mandy Hansen returns to the Northwestern where she's put to the test, hauling in heavy seas. On the Wizard, Monte is forced to play referee between his chief engineer and veteran deckhand Freddy Maugatai. The crew, led by Freddy, believes the chief is spending more time working in the engine room so he can avoid working on deck. Things come to a head when the ship's "head" overflows nearly bringing Freddy and the Chief to blows. Struggling to catch up after a tough start to his season, Captain Wild Bill Wichrowski learns that his crew has forgotten to stock enough bait jars. The skipper is forced to adjust his strategy on the fly. Though the crew gets a piece of Bill's mind, all is forgiven when the boat lands on big numbers.

  • A blackout leaves Jake Anderson and the crew of the Saga dark ship; and Keith Colburn hopes to recruit Josh Harris to save his business.

  • With this year's super moon bringing the most powerful tidal surges in 150 years, the stage is set for the worst winter season of our lifetime. Tenuous new partners Josh and Monte chase their bairdi bounty deep into an arctic storm. A steering malfunction comes at exactly the wrong time for Monte. After a major engine failure, Wild Bill hopes to get his broken boat off the dock. The rest of the fleet arrives for the start of Opilio.

Brenna A Captain Sean Dwyer quickly sets his pots, but his only greenhorn struggles to keep up. Summer Bay skipper Wild Bill Wichrowski is the only one who decides to brave the weather. Desperate to meet his quota before the season ends, Wild Bill gambles the lives of his crew that he can take crab out of the mouth of the storm.

  • As the 2017 season reaches its midpoint, skippers look to put a close to their final king trips, with the Northwestern in the throes of speedy fishing on the far reaches of the northern grounds. Sig wraps kings and gives the helm to Edgar to set his first bairdi pots. While Edgar gets to work, Sig runs the crane on deck, a skill he hasn't used in over 20 years. Captain Keith Colburn returns to the grounds when he feels something strange in the Wizard's ride. His engineer finds a serious threat to his boat in the Wizard's bow; the collision void is flooding, threatening to take down the ship. Jake decides to shuffle his pots in an attempt to get speed up his season. But in the process of stacking, a hydraulic hose in the block bursts and fishing is shut down indefinitely. With no replacement aboard, Jake must think fast or risk falling further behind on his 213,000-pound quota. Opting to come to town light to take tend to two injured deckhands, the Cornelia Marie crew is on edge. If the men aren't cleared to fish, Josh and Casey will be forced to fish shorthanded, a move that could cripple their season.

  • Sig embarks on a daring midnight mission to shake his rivals. The Cornelia Marie pays the price for a rotten alliance, and an injured deckhand could force the boat in early. Keith gets big news from his doctor on a mystery illness.

To honor his grandfather - a WW2 Dutch Harbor war hero - Johnathan Hillstrand plans the largest fireworks display in the island's history. The captains will also examine a bloody attack on Dutch Harbor and relive the Bering Sea's best fireworks of all time. The primary reason for the heartwarming fireworks display however is to celebrate the American soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in Dutch Harbor's "Forgotten War." This was a bloody battle that has always held a special place in Johnathan's heart. After all, his grandfather was part of an elite unit - Castner's Cutthroats - who fought there. America eventually prevailed, but only after nearly 50 US service men and civilians died in the conflict. If all goes well, Johnathan plans to shoot his munitions from a WW2 bunker with the crab fleet observing from their boats. With three full pallets of explosives more than twice that of any other display in Dutch Harbor history. What could possibly go wrong?
